![]() I am aware that there is an unused object that seems to depict the cultivator gifting the Floran their artifact directly, but given the fact it isn't used at all in game, its canonicity is dubious at best. The beam site is right at the edge of the village, which is pretty handy I actually found this village on a different character, then wrote down the coordinates and flew there with my Novakid space cowboy, Jet. We also need to consider how the artifacts were granted, I wouldn't be altogether surprised if they were deposited one the homeworlds of the chosen species rather than directly gifted. It’s a desert planet, though the Starbound Wiki says that Novakids can be found on any planet type. There's nothing that indicates that the Ancients just up and vanished after the Cultivator sealed the Ruin away either, in fact if the caretaker is the last of their kind as many are inclined to think they likely merely dwindled away over the eons, plenty of opportunity for them to keep the gateways up to date on their representation of the chosen races, especially since they're probably the only ones who can actually modify them. Admittedly I have a head-canon that the apex artifact had the genetic code utilized in VEP within it, which does seem to conflict with my first point here, but I haven't gotten to my second. Easily one of the most enigmatic known races, the Novakid are sapient energy beings in a humanoid shape, with metallic 'brands' where their faces would be. Extreme (Tier 5): Arctic, Midnight, Tundra. The Novakid are one of the seven playable races in Starbound, and the only one not given an Ancient artifact. Dangerous (Tier 4): Jungle, Mutated, Toxic. Click to expand.Honestly the gates alone don't really mess up the game's chronology, especially when you consider how we're not given any specific date or solid estimate of when the Apex underwent VEP, there's only some in-universe guesses that throws out some hundreds of years as maybe when VEP happened. Just in case anyone has been having trouble finding one, there is one on a scorched planet right next to the spawn point. Low (Tier 1): Ancient Gateway, Asteroid Field, Barren, Garden. The coordinates worked for me, atleast, I was able to find glitch villages in both coordinates, prehaps, you subscribed to a workshop content that adds coordinates. These villages can be found on any planet type aside from moons, any ocean worlds (including magma, arctic, and toxic ), or garden planets. This village type was added in update 1.1.0. You can also find this guide on Steam here. For my instance, there is nothing at those coordinate except a firery solar system not exactly there. Novakid Villages are a friendly Novakid themed village made up of small homes, saloons and other small structures. (Please let me know if any are wrong or do not appear in your universe)ĭirections from Spawn Point not listed, as I find that the Spawn Point varies for other players. ![]() I will try to keep this updated as I find more villages/dungeons in the future. Novakid, plus a few pictures (Note that these coordinates are for FrackinUniverse mods, so they may not work in Starbound vanilla. Coordinates for Starbound Villages and Dungeons 1.4 By beetlehead An incomplete, but hopefully helpful, list of the Villages (friendly) and Dungeons (hostile) in Starbound 1.4. Note: As I play Starbound without mods, I cannot guarantee that these coordinates will work with mods like Frackin' Universe or Truespace (which, I've been told, modify the universegen and worldgen). ![]()
